Eternity is a compelling story. Once started, it was difficult to put down and I finished the 265 page book, in three sittings. The story line is persuasive and the characters are realistic, so much so that I did not want the story to end.
The first page immediately draws the reader into the office friendship of Aaron Foster and Harmony Jordan. By chapter two, the reader is anxious to see how long it will take before these two realize the love relationship they both seek, is in each other. Aaron thinks he knows what he wants and struggles through relationships to find it. When his new roommate Drew begins dating a girl named Mandy, Aaron is sure it cannot be his ex-financee' and is devastated when he discovers it is indeed she. Aaron develops a plan to break them up. A plan involving Harmony.
Harmony has never had a serious relationship. She has lived in the shadow of her sister. Her heart secretly belongs to Aaron and when he solicits her assistance for the 'Plan', she does not hesitate to say yes. It is what happens next where Ms. Stallings masterful storytelling skills shine and she plaits a tight story with forgiveness, compassion, and love.
When I read Inspirational romances, the inspiration is usually a Faith/Christ element. This is not the case in Eternity. I asked Ms. Stallings what puts the Inspiration in Eternity. Part of her answer was: "All of my books have an element of "living in tune with God's laws" whether God is expressly mentioned or not. To me, Eternity has a more practical-spiritual message than a totally spiritual-spiritual message."
Eternity is a wonderful read and should be the next on your TBR (To Be Read) list. My favorite line: "Hello, you." (When you read Eternity, you will understand.)

Aaron Foster can't believe that Drew, his new roommate and good friend, is dating Aaron's ex-fiancée. He knows Mandy is a narcissistic woman who will only use Drew then dump him when it pleases her. Aaron recruits his co-worker and best friend, Harmony, and together they concoct The Plan, a means to rescue Drew from Mandy's clutches. Aaron introduces them, and Drew is smitten with Harmony from the start. The Plan is working beyond their wildest dreams. But Aaron suddenly realizes he may have made the greatest mistake of his life and in the process lost the only woman he has ever loved.
Eternity is a charming tale of best friends and their journey to discover their true feelings. Staci Stallings does a superb job of showing the struggle between two people who care deeply for each other but refuse to admit it. Without sounding preachy, Ms. Stalling makes a great case for remaining physically pure until marriage. Chock full of romance and heartfelt emotions, Eternity is a sweet, love story that leaves you with a warm, fuzzy feeling.

Harmony Jordan has worked with Aaron Foster for years. She's been his confidant, his best friend and harbours deeper, more intimate feelings toward him. Only one problem, Aaron has no idea how she truly feels about him. Just once she'd love it if she would be seen as more than a stay at home, safe, boring friend.
Aaron Foster's heart has just been ripped apart. His fiancee', Mandy, has dumped him and she is now going out with his new roommate, Drew. When Mandy flirts with Aaron while she's practically engaged to Drew, Aaron knows he must devise a plan to save his roommate from a fate worse than death--the same heartache he has suffered.
Harmony aches to help Aaron with his problem regarding his roommate. She knows whatever plan she comes up with , it will never be enough to show him how much she cares for him. When Aaron asks her to be the girl to drive Drew's attention away from the flirtatious Mandy, Harmony reluctantly agrees. But when she goes out with Drew she discovers how charming he can really be--but it still doesn't stop her from fantasizing about Aaron.
Inspirational Romance Author Staci Stallings uses her imagination well as she sets the stage for a genuine friendship and a sweet romance in 'Eternity'. Her characters will captivate you as they struggle to find their way into each other's hearts. A fine read for Staci Stallings fans! Misplaced love and secret passions lead two best friends on an unforeseen adventure to ultimately discover each other’s true feelings. But, not until they nearly lose each other do they begin to understand the undeniable force that binds them.
Staci Stallings pushes the envelope on our emotions in this uplifting, dramatic tale of secret love. Aaron Foster and Harmony Jordan work side-by-side for years. Yet Aaron remains oblivious to the passionate desires that Harmony, his best friend and confidant, secretly harbors for him. Ironically, it is during a meticulously executed plan to break up Drew, Aaron’s newly found roommate and friend, and Aaron’s jaded ex-fiancée, that he realizes how much Harmony means to him, as she unintentionally grows more interested in Drew. Now the table has turned, and Aaron struggles with regret while remaining hopeful that somehow she will come to want him as much as he wants her.
Stallings’ Eternity is fresh, dodgy and obviously contrived to charm. Just when you think you’ve heard this one before, Stallings refreshes you with renewed inspiration in her uncomplicated and stimulating style of storytelling. Seasoned with a pinch of humor, Eternity takes you on a serious journey through the challenges that finding true love presents and leaves you wanting more. No story of its kind has captured the heart so completely.
Stallings' Eternity is an absolutely inspirational work of art. A must-read for any one looking for a spirited portrayal of the search for “the one to love for life.”
